A very interesting read and having lived through the same era, I was born in 1945, I can identify with parts. I do agree the point that it can be unsafe to try and moralise on some issues. One thing I find hard as a writer if that I write a piece that has reference to almost anything then many readers assume that is my opinion and do not see that writers often merely try and present different perspectives. I do have concerns though when women are used by men for financial gain. That used to be called ‘pimping’ but now seems to be something carried out through media such as SnapChat. We learn every day.
