Tulips Dance and Bow (my digital music composition)
My friend, what do we really know?
Even though cut, the Tulips grow.
I wonder how they dance and bow
from their Stage of water in a vase
to our delight and our applause.
They give us such a lively Show,
their Tulip Life, before they go…
Dying Flowers, how do they grow?

May your Spirit shine brightly, Shelley

Many thanks for that beautiful word Kerri!
The tulips do give a lovely show… indeed, they dance in a stage of water in a vase! I love tulips, and your poem makes me appreciate tulips even more. They brighten our lives by their beauty. The images are very artistic and the colors are so vibrant. Thank you for sharing, Shelley!
Thanks Dee! It delights me that my poem inspires you to appreciate tulips even more. As a professional floral designer for the last 20 years I have seen many tulips beautify the world.
That is so wonderful, Shelley, that you are a professional floral designer. I will learn more about your work through the youtube link you provided on your site! I love tulips, for I think they are one of the most beautiful flowers.
What lovely words accompanied with magnificent photos…
Thank you so much! I awoke at about 3 a.m. to write this one while enjoying a cup of tea. Many people like having their tulips stand straight like soldiers but I prefer to see mine as dancing performers moving with the changing light.
Many thanks for your appreciation of this and I appreciate your comment too.
Your the tulips dance upon the page.
Thanks David. Yes, they are amazing expressions of Life’s beautiful Spirit.
